PROVINCIALE PARELS
De winterstop voor de heren voetballers zit erop. Vrijdag beginnen de grote jongens er opnieuw aan, in de provinciale afdelingen ging de bal afgelopen weekend alweer aan het rollen. Dat gebeurde vaak tussen prachtige decorstukken. Een gekunstelde viploge, op de schouders gedragen door
dug-outs. Tribunes voor anderhalve man en een paardenkop die door de week als voederplaats voor dieren zouden kunnen dienen.
Minuscule loketten aan de rand, op een zucht van de cornervlag, opgetrokken uit steen of betonplaten, veelal met afbladderende verf en woekerend mos. Misschien moeten Bart Verhaeghe en co. de provinciale velden maar eens afrijden, om zich voor het nieuwe Jan Breydel te laten inspireren door de soms sculpturale pareltjes.
